Les Journées de la Rose

The culture and the production of roses and rosebushes is one of the main activities of Doué La Fontaine. This passion of the town for rosebushes goes back up to more than 150 years and would be due to the baron Foullon, the notable of the region until the Revolution, which had made decorate the gardens of his castle with this flower.
