The visit thus takes place in 2 parts. The part in surface contains the Richelieu's bedroom, the ancient apartments of the bishop, the classified neogothic style furniture, as well as the big gallery being of use to the receptions of time. It's the first floor that we reach in the second half of the castle: underground passages.
It's the most ancient part where we find vestiges of the former constructions.
Several hundreds of metres of visit in basement show you how the people of time conceived
a life hidden from the surface, allowing at the same moment to meet their need in food and
to defend itself from enemy attacks. Numerous traps and craftiness were reserved for the unwanted guests.
It's a site to be visited which will delight as well the art lovers as those fascinated by the subterranean world.
